Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Bridge Academy platform at bridgeacademy.online and courses.bridgeacademy.online (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including individual learners, institutional administrators, and corporate clients.

2. Description of Service

Bridge Academy provides an AI-powered English language learning platform designed for learners in the Middle East and GCC region. The Service includes access to courses, AI-generated learning content, placement assessments, progress tracking, and related features hosted on our Moodle-based LMS.

3. Account Registration

To access the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use at support@bridgeacademy.online.

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. Institutional accounts may be created on behalf of learners by authorised administrators.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Share your account credentials with others or allow third parties to access the Service using your account.
• Reproduce, distribute, or resell any course content without prior written authorisation from Bridge Academy.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract content from the platform.
• Attempt to circumvent, hack, or interfere with the platform's security or functionality.
• Upload or transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair Bridge Academy infrastructure.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including course materials, AI-generated content, assessments, branding, and software — is the exclusive property of Bridge Academy or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

Upon payment of applicable fees, Bridge Academy grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your personal or internal organisational purposes. This licence does not include any right to sublicense, resell, or create derivative works.

6. Enrolment and Payment

Access to certain courses and features may require payment of fees. All fees are stated in US dollars unless otherwise specified. By providing payment information, you authorise Bridge Academy to charge the applicable fees.

Institutional clients may be subject to a separate commercial agreement. In the event of conflict between these Terms and a signed commercial agreement, the commercial agreement prevails.

7. Refund Policy

Individual course purchases may be refunded within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not completed more than 20% of the course content. Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has commenced.

8. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate personalised learning materials, assessments, and recommendations. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions. Bridge Academy does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated content.

You acknowledge that AI-generated content is a learning aid and should not be relied upon as authoritative professional, legal, or technical advice.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Bridge Academy does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bridge Academy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Bridge Academy in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bridge Academy, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

Bridge Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably determine to be harmful to other users, the platform, or the company.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to access the Service will cease immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction in which Bridge Academy is incorporated. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
